Practice Development Lead – Children with Complex needs

Starting salary circa £21,000
Five Rivers Child Care Limited was created in 1989 to provide safety for children who have been abused or are in need of specialist care. They have now teamed with Bournemouth University and agreed a Knowledge Transfer Partnership to enhance the care of children and young people with complex needs.
In order for the partnership to be a success a Research Associate is required to implement, manage and deliver an innovative model for the evaluation of intervention and treatment to support the integrated model for care of children with complex needs (Foster Care, Residential, Education, Therapy, Assessment).
Therefore demonstrable experience in project management is an essential element of this role.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2(1) honours degree in a relevant discipline. Ideally you will be post graduate and preferably post doctoral.
You will possess the ability to work responsibly with enthusiasm and to communicate and work with staff at all levels.
You will be self-motivated, well organised and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. You will be able to work to tight deadlines and be capable of planning and prioritising your own work, as well as possessing excellent communication skills and a practical approach to work. The post holder will spend a majority of their time working from Five Rivers Head Office in Salisbury, but as a national organisation may be required to spend time in other regions throughout the UK.
The post holder is subject to an advanced CRB.
