Five Rivers Goes Gold at 30
We’re delighted to announce that we have been awarded the We invest in people, gold accreditation, by Investors in People.
Five Rivers is currently celebrating its 30 year anniversary and this prestigious accolade recognises the continuous commitment the organisation has to being an employer of choice.
This award is achieved by only 17% of IIP-accredited organisations.
Of particular note in the report was Five Rivers’ commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships whilst maintaining their independent status.
Commenting on the award, CEO and Founder, Pam McConnell said:
“I’m delighted that we have achieved the Gold Accreditation in our 30th year. It recognises the hard work of all our employees throughout the organisation, and the work which they do to constantly improve our services to children and young people. As a Social Enterprise, we reinvest 51% of our surplus into our services so that we can provide the best outcomes possible to looked-after children”.
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Five Rivers Child Care. Gold accreditation on We invest in people is a fantastic effort for any organisation, and places Five Rivers in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”
