I joined Five Rivers having worked for over a decade in therapeutic services in the Third sector, Social Care, Schools, and NHS services. My work has focused on using creativity via the therapeutic arts and play-based therapy, supporting the mental health of young people and their families that have had an interaction and involvement with social care, across the spectrum, from early support to children in need, through child protection, fostering, and post-adoption support.

I acknowledge and values the difficulties of life, and this is key to my approach to work. I view my work as holistic and systemic, working with young people and carers to recognize and strengthen the areas of most need and value to the young people as we all work to support emotional health and growth.
