A Grand Opening for Field Gate’s Extended School House!

Since opening in February 2022, Five Rivers Field Gate School has been going from strength to strength. Last week they celebrated the completion of the second phase of their development plans! The Five Rivers Board attended to open the new house with a red ribbon and large pair of scissors to mark the occasion.

Fresh from celebrating their recent GOOD Ofsted results, which took place at Field Gate in May, this has been an exciting time for the school to expand and establish itself, backed by a fantastic team of staff and headteacher, Sarah Weston.

Commenting on the Ofsted report and the growth of the school, Sarah said,
“It’s difficult to put into words how proud I am of this result; I am in awe of our team’s accomplishments. The team share the Field Gate School aspirations which enables us to drive the high standards and expectations. I am so excited to keep building on our achievements and supporting the company’s vision in turning children’s lives around. At Field Gate School- Together, we GROW! “

​​​​​​​The opening event proudly showed off the finished results of the construction work at the school. With 5 new classrooms in the main house, a staff room and a new office, this extra space will be utilised by all the students who attend Field Gate.

​​​​​​​Five Rivers Facilities Lead, Daniel Heath, has been overseeing the project from start to finish; “Originally scheduled to open in September, we have managed to deliver this project nearly three months early, which is a huge achievement in itself (especially with the gift that keeps on giving… Field Gate!)”

“I want to say a special thank you to members of the Field Gate team, especially Sarah, who stayed over the last two evenings with myself to ensure we could get this over the line on the date required. A real team effort!”
