A nature-based Alternative Provision in Warrington where young people can reconnect with learning. They can build confidence and develop skills through art and exploration. We offer a bespoke curriculum offering tailored support.

Our values

Nestled in the woodland behind Gulliver’s Woodland Retreat in Warrington, Willow Haven Centre offers a creative nurturing space. It provides one-to-one Alternative Provision tutoring in Warrington. Our provision is designed for young people who thrive in a more personalised environment. That’s why we provide bespoke learning experiences that combine art, outdoor exploration and hands-on discovery.
Every programme we offer is tailored to each individual student, promoting academic progress alongside emotional wellbeing, using nature and creativity as powerful tools for growth.
Here, learning feels calm, creative and rooted in nature, giving every learner the opportunity to thrive.

 

Our facilities

Our small, supportive environment helps learners rebuild confidence, develop new skills and reconnect with their curiosity through:
  • six woodland learning cabins
  • outdoor exploration areas
  • creative arts spaces
  • quiet sensory reflection zones
  • small group teaching spaces – kitchen classroom.

Curriculum information

Students at Willow Haven Centre can attend a bespoke and programme focusing on creativity and working towards an Award, Certificate, or Diploma in vocational areas.
Access to specialised pastoral support including a key worker outside the main class, who can explore feelings and barriers to learning. We also provide life skills development to all students to support successful progression.
