A special art commission for our 30th anniversary
Last year, as part of our 30th anniversary celebrations, we commissioned an art project for our young people at Five Rivers. The task: to design a bus advert. Soon afterwards, an amazing colourful design was drawn up which exceeded all our expectations!
The artwork was printed on the back of a Salisbury Reds bus, which has been driving around the city centre ever since!
The artwork depicts one of our homes and the Five Rivers family who live inside. We love how much energy resonates from the drawing – from the bouncing on the trampoline to the kite in the sunny sky. Here’s the original drawing in all it’s glory!
This special Five Rivers 30th anniversary bus design is almost coming to an end but will have been live in our hometown for a year.
It is inspiring to see the impact of the children’s creativity from across Five Rivers on the wider community and we look forward to seeing more of the children’s artistic talent in future competitions!
