Benny’s Day at The Spires

Hi Guys, Benny here. I had such a good day at The Spires last week that I just couldn’t wait to tell you about it!

The children and young people at The Spires School have been attending school 2 days a week and have been learning from home the rest of the time. They were kind enough to invite me in for a day of school (don’t worry – we were social distancing).

Last week, The Entertainer toy shop donated some supplies to The Spires such as craft material and Lego, so the first thing we did was get our arts and crafts on.

We enjoyed the sunshine in the playground and I got to help put up the new swing pole! The young people had lots of fun playing with it once we built it.

I also got to go on the climbing frames. I wasn’t very good at first, but the young people showed me the ropes – it was beary exciting!

My favourite part of the day was when I helped to bake a lovely cake! What’s your favourite cake? Mine’s a blue bear-y muffin. We saw some pretty flowers outside the window and we got to go and play in the gardens afterwards.
