We are proud to announce that all of our services across fostering, residential care and education are rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted, marking a significant achievement in delivering high-quality care and support for children and young people.
With over 20 services nationwide, we supports hundreds of children and young people every year, providing safe and nurturing environments where they can thrive. This milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to creating positive futures through therapeutic care and education.
Supported by more than 35 years of expertise in fostering, residential care, clinical services and education, we continue to set high standards across the sector. Today, a team of over 650 dedicated professionals works tirelessly to transform lives and create brighter futures for children and young people.
As CEO, I am immensely proud that every one of Five Rivers’ children’s and education services has achieved these extraordinary Ofsted Inspection results. This is a testament to the unwavering dedication, and compassion, of all our teams, our families, and our communities who work tirelessly to provide secure, nurturing and supportive homes and schools, where vulnerable children and young people can thrive, heal and build brighter futures. This success is shared by every single person in Five Rivers who strive to ensure the highest standards and reflects our shared commitment to providing consistent, therapeutic, child centred practice.

This is echoed by the inspectors, with one noting “children feel settled and comfortable in their foster families.” and “Foster carers are passionate about the children they care for and are committed to providing them with a loving home”.
Our mission is Turning Children’s Lives Around, and these Ofsted results affirm our role as a trusted partner in the sector. By prioritising therapeutic approaches and child-centred practice, we continue to set benchmarks for excellence in the sector.
