Charles has more than 25 years of experience in working therapeutically with children and adolescents. He was the clinical supervisor and team manager for three Multisystemic Therapy Teams (MST), that provided family-based interventions to parents and carers of children with complex behaviour problems.

Charles has supervisory and managerial oversight and responsibilities for the clinicians working within the residential service. Outside of his work with Five Rivers, Charles has several years recent experience as a Senior Eating Disorder therapist within the NHS.. After many years of running groups for men who have been convicted of domestic violence offences, Charles regularly authors reports to criminal courts at the pre-sentence report stage and has been delivering risk assessment and risk management interventions in forensic settings for over 12 years. He has acted as an expert witness in around 38 disputed contact cases and public law child protection cases.

MSc Counselling Psychology - University of Surrey, BSc Social Psychology (Hons) - London School of Economics and Political Science, Post Graduate Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy - Sheffield University
