Lucy-Rose Wilkes

Clinical Practitioner

Art Psychotherapist

I have been working therapeutically with children and adults for over ten years, using the arts as a vehicle for communication, self-expression and change. Having worked across both children’s and adult mental health services, children’s social care, residential care, education and the third sector, I specialise in working with children who have experienced trauma, in particular childhood sexual exploitationMy approach is creative and empowering, with systemic thought and interventions that aim to increase a felt sense of safety in the team around the child. In direct work I am particularly interested in the power of sensory experiences that are developmentally appropriate for healing and growth.
