We’re pleased to announce that Clannad School has been rated Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted following a recent inspection.
The opening to the report says: “Pupils describe Clannad school as a ‘special and safe place’ to learn. They feel happy and secure in school.”
Inspectors praised the school for its compassionate and highly skilled teaching staff and broad and flexible curriculum. The report highlighted the schools’ successful approach to teaching by prioritising reading and ensuring they work with families and residential staff to embed school routine into their daily lives.
Headteacher, Utibe Abasi Umoren said:
We are really proud to be part of the Five Rivers family. This achievement truly reflects our mission and values, and we are glad that the inspector recognised the sincerity and hard work. We couldn’t have done it without the generous support from the whole Five Rivers team. We did this together. Thank you, everyone!
Five Rivers Child Care CEO, Nicci Willock added:
I feel privileged to be the CEO of this wonderful organisation, where without exception, everyone is striving to provide such a “special and safe place” in which children can thrive and learn and develop.
Clannad School has been providing a positive, safe, and stimulating environment for children to learn since 2013. Pupils at the school receive individualised and bespoke curriculum and timetable to meet their individual needs.
