You will lead SEN and inclusive education through the roles of SENCo for looked-after pupils in our school. You will also support teachers and HLTAs by adapting learning to our pupils' needs.
Willow View School works with children with social, emotional, and emerging mental health needs. The school is based in Rochdale, providing a safe and nurturing environment for anxious, vulnerable pupils unable to sustain a mainstream placement.
Our educational offer balances academic studies, physical and outdoor education, vocational studies, and personal development programmes. Where the children are taught in small groups or on a one-to-one basis. Bespoke learning based on personal interests and community issues engages pupils – helping extend their concentration and success.

You will demonstrate the skills of drawing upon you own personal and professional knowledge and experience. The suitable candidates must be able to work as a team member to achieve the best outcomes for the children, prioritising their individual needs and safety.
Experience of working with children/young people would be an advantage but optional, representation from other sectors such as health and Police is advantageous. No formal social work qualifications are necessary, but understanding and empathy for the work required are essential.

We are recruiting a Business Support Coordinator to join our fostering service in Ellesmere Port, within our Foster Careline partner Agency – Part of the Five Rivers Group.
The administrative teams work cohesively across all services. We are a friendly, hardworking team who enjoy working alongside our social workers and fostering support worker colleagues.
Our Trauma-Informed (ATIC) model integrates our Fostering, Residential, Clinical, and Education services to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.
The role's administrative duties include answering general queries and fostering-related business by phone and email, processing regular checks for current foster carers and children, managing diary and room bookings, taking minutes in meetings, and liaising with head office finance teams.

You may work with Children and Young people with a range of complex needs including Learning difficulties, Autism, and Trauma.

For this home, you will need to have experience as a Leader and Manager within Residential Children's Homes, who can lead, develop, and manage an established team of Residential Child Care Workers.
Our Residential service offers therapeutic homes catering to the children's daily needs. We understand the needs of the children and recognise and support our Children who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences and trauma. An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Placements Officer on a Maternity Cover basis to join our Placements Service at Five Rivers, a leading Social Enterprise who has been “turning children’s lives around” since 1989.
This position will be preferably based in either our Bristol or Salisbury Office. Other Five Rivers offices are available where suitable. The specific office base will be agreed during the recruitment process. All Five Rivers fostering services are rated Good with Outstanding features by Ofsted.
Five Rivers Fostering Services has grown significantly, this is mirrored in the significant increase in the number of national referrals. We are committed to ensuring that out Placements Service has the structure to ensure we enhance opportunities to increased numbers of placements and build on our quality relationships referring authorities. As the Assistant Placements Officer, you will be integral to the Placements Teams in working closely with all of the fostering teams to ensure that high quality responses to referrals are received by Local Authorities in a timely and effective manner to maximise the opportunities to place children, young people and families with our Foster Carers.
You will be supporting the Placements Officers in both preparing information and processing all incoming referrals from placing authorities and liaising closely with social work teams to match young people referred with foster carers. Processing financial arrangements and data reporting is part of this role to agree placement fees and ensure that additional placement support is negotiated and agreed with our Local Authorities.

As a Children Support Worker, you will be involved in events and activities including:
Part of the role involves some overnight stays in the home. You will need to do between 2 and 3 of these ‘sleep-ins’ per week, so the salary advertised includes the payment for an average of 8 sleep ins per month. For each sleep-in you receive an additional £50 per night - if you completed eight sleep-ins per month, that's equivalent to £4800 p.a.
You will need to have good written, verbal, and IT communication skills, know how to have fun, and understand the importance of play to children.
We will support you to achieve your Level 4 Qualifications. for this home you will need to have a full driving licence and access to a car due to the location of the home and be over the age of 19.

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join our Residential Children Services in Burnley. Pennine View is home to up to three young people aged between 7 and 17 years upon admission.
You will be an experienced Deputy Manager working in an environment and culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible.
As Deputy Manager, you will support the registered manager in the day-to-day running of the home, support the continued development of a team of Residential Care Workers who help and support our children who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences and trauma, using our trauma-informed practices, which are embedded within our culture.

For this home, you will need to have experience as a Leader and Manager within Residential Children's Homes, who can lead, develop, and manage an established team of Residential Child Care Workers.
Our Residential service offers therapeutic homes catering to the children's daily needs. We understand the needs of the children and recognise and support our Children who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences and trauma. We are Looking for Deputy Managers to join our Residential Children Services in Salisbury. Our homes vary from a one-bed property to a six-bed property, and our children are aged between 6 – and 12 on admission.
You will be an experienced Deputy Manager working in an environment and culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible.
As Deputy Manager, you will support the registered manager in the day-to-day running of the home, support the continued development of a team of Residential Child Care Workers who help and support our children who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences and trauma, using our trauma-informed practices, which are embedded within our culture.
Our leadership team will invest in your progression as a professional in the child care sector. Not only do we source and deliver up-to-date training opportunities, but we also prioritise and discuss your personal development goals to ensure you’re getting the most out of your career.
Our young people may have had many adults come in and out of their lives, often adding to their trauma. Therefore, we are looking for a committed and dedicated Deputy Manager. You’ll be a natural at building a rapport with children and someone full of empathy, so you can understand and relate to the young people you work with.
You will need to have at least 2 years’ experience of being a Deputy Manager working in a Children’s Residential Setting, hold your level 5 in leadership and management or be prepared to work toward it, is desirable a minimum of Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Work Force, have a proven track record with Ofsted, Legislative Framework

We are looking to appoint a Registered Manager to join our Children’s home just outside of Weymouth, Dorset.
For this home, you will need to be an experienced Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager who can lead, develop, and manage an established team of Residential Child Care Workers.
Our Residential service offers therapeutic homes catering to the children's daily needs. We understand the needs of the children and recognise and support our Children who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences and trauma. You must have at least one year’s experience as a registered manager in a children’s residential setting within the last five years, hold or be working towards your level 5 in leadership and management, and have a minimum of Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Work Force, have a proven track record with Ofsted, Legislative Framework.
Osmington House is for one child aged 6-18 who calls this their home. It is based just outside the glorious town of Weymouth and is easily commutable for neighbouring villages and towns.

You will demonstrate the skills of drawing upon you own personal and professional knowledge and experience. The role's administrative duties include answering general queries and fostering-related business by phone and email, processing regular checks for current foster carers and children, managing diary and room bookings, taking minutes in meetings, and liaising with head office finance teams.

We are seeking to appoint a Fostering Support worker on a Sessional basis to provide support to our Supervising Social Workers and Foster Carers throughout Oldham, Rochdale, Manchester, Tameside, Huddersfield, Salford, Trafford and all places in between.
The role requires a person who can work directly with Children, Foster Carers and other Professionals to ensure quality outcomes for Children and Young people.
Responsibilities include:

Experience of working in the fostering sector and/or children/young people would be an advantage but not necessary.
This is a sessional position, which could include weekends and after school hours. A full UK driving licence is required for this role as it involves extensive driving across the above areas.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Placements Officer on a Maternity Cover basis to join our Placements Service at Five Rivers, a leading Social Enterprise who has been “turning children’s lives around” since 1989.
This position will be preferably based in either our Bristol or Salisbury Office. Other Five Rivers offices are available where suitable. The specific office base will be agreed during the recruitment process. All Five Rivers fostering services are rated Good with Outstanding features by Ofsted.
Five Rivers Fostering Services has grown significantly, this is mirrored in the significant increase in the number of national referrals. We are committed to ensuring that out Placements Service has the structure to ensure we enhance opportunities to increased numbers of placements and build on our quality relationships referring authorities. As the Assistant Placements Officer, you will be integral to the Placements Teams in working closely with all of the fostering teams to ensure that high quality responses to referrals are received by Local Authorities in a timely and effective manner to maximise the opportunities to place children, young people and families with our Foster Carers.
You will be supporting the Placements Officers in both preparing information and processing all incoming referrals from placing authorities and liaising closely with social work teams to match young people referred with foster carers. Processing financial arrangements and data reporting is part of this role to agree placement fees and ensure that additional placement support is negotiated and agreed with our Local Authorities.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Follow up regularly with Social Workers and Carers appropriately for a progress update and ensure all timescales are met
• Request additional information from referrers when and needed before matching is completed and feedback on any issues
• Complete all placement “Start” of new placements paperwork
• Assist local offices, if necessary, with “Stops,” internal moves and ongoing external respite
• Be involved in carer recruitment process & induction of newly approved carers, e.g., physical recruitment event or regional virtual session.
• Maintain regular and agreed contact with carers who are without placements.
• To liaise with Carer Recruitment Team to ensure that carer profiles and welcome books are available at the point of approval
• Maintain an updated and current foster carer profile database
• To work with the Placements Officer to maintain carer’s availability and other related referral data and compile reports when and as required.
• To follow up on unsuccessful offers with Local Authorities and maintain a record of reasons.
• To assist Senior Placements Officer with completion of various framework agreements
• Daily reconciliation of referrals.
• To provide cover for any Placements Officer absence.
• Any additional administration tasks or projects that may be required by the business
• To build good relationships with Foster Carers, Social Workers, Commissioners

The successful applicant will be working for the South and South-East Service, which has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (January 2022). The region covers Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset, Isle of Wight and has successfully expanded its footprint into East and West Sussex in line with our growth and development strategy.
We are looking for a Supervising Social Worker who can work on their own initiative alongside the Service Manager and Team Manager supporting Foster Carers whilst also helping with the planning and delivery of recruitment events across the region.
The post holder will require creativity, flexibility, and the ability to travel within mostly the Hampshire or Wiltshire area, but at times other areas of the region also. The role offers a hybrid way of working with work undertaken both at our office located in Salisbury and at home, as well as attending face to face meetings with Foster Carers.

You will have experience of working within the Fostering Sector, either with an IFA or in the Local Authority. You will need the skills and knowledge to enable the completion of initial home visits through to Form F Assessment and presentation at an independent panel.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has the drive and ambition to provide more high-quality foster placements for children in the area where we know that there is a shortfall of foster families for children who need their care.
You will be responsible for:
• Direct support of foster carers within a realistic caseload which enables a high level of supervision, monitoring, and intervention.
• Working within a Trauma Informed Practice Model, which is continually evolving in line with research and practice developments.
• Assist in undertaking initial visits to prospective foster carers and join carer recruitment activities.
• Complete Form F Assessments

• Work in collaboration with all colleagues and managers to achieve a high standard of service to Foster Carers and young people whilst meeting all Ofsted requirements.

Hours
Our full-time hours are 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9am -17:00pm and Fridays 9am – 16:30pm. The role is full time over 5 days per week.
