Could you be a ‘Fan of Fostering’?

Fans of Fostering

Celebrate. Educate. Participate.

We’re excited to announce the launch of our brand-new initiative, Fans of Fostering!

Fans of Fostering gives those who believe in the transformational power of fostering, the opportunity to support the cause – if it’s not possible for them to foster right now.

As a fan of fostering, you will be passionate about advocating for children in care and want to help turn children’s lives around.

At Five Rivers Child Care, we want to encourage people to see well of care experienced children and young people and educate them on their needs and the challenges they face. Our mission is to arm people with information to help spread awareness and offer opportunities to help if they’re not able to foster themselves.

Here are the three key words that perfectly describe what being a fan of fostering represents:

Celebrate: Children and young people in care are truly remarkable. This is a space for us to celebrate their achievements and the achievements of those who are trying to make the world a better place for them.

Educate: Re-shaping the narrative about fostering and the lasting, positive impact it can have on children and young people. Whether that be trying to dispel myths about fostering or discussing some of the challenges that they face.

Participate: Encouraging people and communities to get involved, in small and big ways. Would you or your organisation be interested in inviting us in to talk to you about fostering or hear from those who do it? Could you become a partner of Five Rivers?

How do I get involved?
